Daisy Gladys Iteriteka

Daisy Gladys Iteriteka is the focal point for artificial intelligence at the UNDP Burundi, actively involved in promoting AI development in the country. She participated in the recent AILA/EPIA workshop, where she underscored the importance of a coordinated approach to AI that focuses on governance, ethics, and the creation of concrete initiatives. Iteriteka's work aims to prepare Burundi for the digital age and ensure AI serves as a catalyst for socio-economic progress while addressing potential inequalities.
