Dan Quirke

Dan Quirke is the father of Dillon Quirke, a young hurler who tragically passed away at the age of 24 due to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. In the wake of his son's death, Dan, alongside his wife Hazel, established the Dillon Quirke Foundation, which aims to provide heart screening for young athletes in Ireland. Through their efforts, they have raised over €2 million to promote awareness and prevent SADS, driven by the memory of their son and a commitment to saving lives.
