Dan Winkelman

Dan Winkelman is the president and CEO of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation (YKHC), a non-profit organization dedicated to serving Indigenous Alaskans in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region. Under his leadership, YKHC has been involved in significant health initiatives, including the recent expansion of a community health clinic in Kwigillingok. Winkelman's work reflects a commitment to improving health outcomes for approximately 30,000 Indigenous individuals across 58 federally recognized tribes, particularly in the face of increasing climate challenges.
