Daniel Gravius

Daniel Gravius was a Dutch missionary who made notable contributions to the Christianization of Taiwan in the 17th century. He is recognized for his translation work, including the publication of the Gospels of St Matthew and St John into the Siraya language, which played a significant role in the documentation of indigenous culture and language.
