Daniel McAnaspie
Daniel McAnaspie was a teenager from Finglas, Dublin, who tragically became a victim of murder in 2010. Known for his challenging upbringing and struggles with mental health, Daniel had been in State care since the age of 10 and had experienced over 20 care placements in the 15 months leading up to his death. His pleas for secure care went unheard, culminating in his stabbing at Tolka Valley Park, with his body discovered months later.
