Sabrina McAnaspie

Sabrina McAnaspie is the aunt of Daniel McAnaspie, who was murdered in 2010 while under the care of the State. In the wake of the inquest verdict, Sabrina spoke on behalf of the family, calling attention to the systemic failures that led to Daniel's death and lamenting the lack of proper support for vulnerable children in care. She described Daniel as the family's 'baby' and firmly stated that he would still be alive had the system provided the necessary help.
