Danish Akhlaq

Danish Akhlaq is the son of Mohammad Akhlaq, who was murdered by a mob in 2015 in Uttar Pradesh, India. Danish was seriously injured during the attack on their home, which was fueled by false accusations of cow slaughter. He has witnessed the long struggle of his family for justice amidst ongoing fears for their safety and the legal challenges posed by the state government seeking to absolve the accused.
