Daria Chultcova

Daria Chultcova is a journalist and video operator who gained international attention after being detained in November 2020 while covering the dispersal of a memorial gathering in honor of activist Roman Bondarenko. Alongside her colleague Ekaterina Andreyeva, she was sentenced to two years in prison for their reporting work, which was deemed politically sensitive by the Belarusian authorities. In July 2022, Andreyeva received an extended sentence, reflecting the ongoing repression of independent media in Belarus.
