David Moser
Private David Moser was a Jewish American soldier who fought in World War I after enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1917. Born in Suffern, New York, he served valiantly in France but tragically succumbed to the Spanish flu shortly after the armistice in 1919 at the young age of 20. Initially buried in Germany, Moser was later interred at Arlington National Cemetery, where his gravestone was mistakenly marked with a Latin cross, despite his Jewish faith. Recently, this oversight was rectified, and his gravestone was amended to reflect his true heritage.
Born on Sep 07, 1898 (126 years old)
