David Nutt is a neuropsychopharmacologist and professor at Imperial College London, known for his work on the effects of drugs on the brain and for advocating for harm reduction strategies regarding drug policy. He was notably dismissed as a government advisor in 2009 for stating that certain illegal drugs are less harmful than legal substances like alcohol. Nutt is also a co-founder of GABA Labs, which produces Sentia, a non-alcoholic beverage designed to enhance sociability by mimicking the relaxing effects of alcohol through GABA stimulation.
