Defence Forces

The Defence Forces is the military organization of Ireland, responsible for the defense of the state and providing support in various emergencies, such as natural disasters and public safety incidents. They include the Army, Navy, and Air Corps, and are often called upon to assist law enforcement agencies, such as the Gardaí, in operations that require specialized skills, including bomb disposal and other hazardous materials handling.
