Denis Goldberg

Denis Goldberg was a prominent anti-apartheid activist in South Africa, known for his involvement in the Rivonia Trial alongside Nelson Mandela in the early 1960s. After spending 22 years in prison for his activism, he emigrated to Israel before eventually settling in the United Kingdom. Goldberg became a vocal critic of Israeli policies, comparing them to the apartheid regime in South Africa and supporting the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel until his passing in 2020.
