
Dalai Lama
The Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism and the former political leader of Tibet. He was born in 1935 and recognized as the 14th Dalai Lama at a young age. After fleeing to India in 1959 due to the Chinese invasion of Tibet, he has lived in exile, advocating for the rights and autonomy of the Tibetan people.
