Diego Grillo Benítez

Diego 'Grillo' Benítez is an Argentine-born artist and self-taught researcher who has embraced his Paraguayan identity, dedicating his life to preserving and promoting Paraguayan culinary culture. After moving to Paraguay in 2000, he authored 'Chipas de raíces profundas,' a book that explores the history and significance of chipa, a traditional Paraguayan bread, which led him to win two prestigious Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in 2024, representing Paraguay on an international stage.
