
Dimitrije Davidović
Dimitrije Davidović (1780-1838) was a Serbian politician and the principal author of the Sretenjski ustav (Sretenje Constitution) of 1835. This constitution was the first in Serbian history and one of the first in the former Yugoslav territories, aiming to establish a democratic framework and civil liberties in Serbia. His work was pivotal in the development of modern Serbian governance.
