
Djibril Bassole
Djibril Bassole is a former foreign minister of Burkina Faso and was implicated as a mastermind behind the 2015 coup attempt against the transitional government. He received a 10-year prison sentence for his involvement in the plot to overthrow the government following the ousting of long-time president Blaise Compaore. Like Gilbert Diendere, Bassole was not included in the recent amnesty pardon issued by the junta leader.
