Dmitro Kotsjubajlo, known by his call sign 'Da Vinci', was a legendary Ukrainian warrior and commander of the elite 108th Separate Assault Battalion, 'Da Vinci's Wolves'. He became a symbol of bravery during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, ultimately sacrificing his life in 2023, which drew national attention and respect, including a tribute from President Volodymyr Zelensky.
