
Dmitry Islamov
Dmitry Islamov is a Russian politician and member of the United Russia party, currently serving as a deputy in the State Duma. Born on December 5, 1977, in Kemerovo, he has a background in economics and energy, holding a degree from the Kuzbass State Technical University and a PhD in coal and coal chemistry. His career progressed from working as an economist to holding various administrative roles in the Kemerovo region, including Deputy Governor. In 2016, he was elected to the State Duma, where he has focused on energy policy. Recently, he has been nominated for the position of Deputy Minister of Energy, overseeing the coal industry.
