
Don Kirshner
Don Kirshner was a prominent American music publisher and television producer, best known for his role in the creation and promotion of the Monkees, a band formed for a television series in the 1960s. Kirshner was instrumental in assembling the songwriting team of Boyce and Hart, who crafted many of the Monkees' biggest hits. His influence extended to numerous music acts and television shows, making him a key figure in the intersection of music and media during the era. Kirshner passed away in 2011.
