Dorico, the uncle of Brazilian politician Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, played a crucial yet often overlooked role in Lula's early life. After Lindu, Lula's mother, left her troubled marriage, Dorico provided support and shelter for her and her children during their challenging times in Santos. He established a bar where they found refuge, helping to nurture a family that would later be shaped by Lula's political journey.
