Douglas Andrés Romero Flores

Douglas Andrés Romero Flores is an 18-year-old Honduran youth swimmer from San Pedro Sula, known for his resilience and dedication to the sport. He began swimming at the age of nine and now aims to break the national record in the 50-meter backstroke. Despite facing challenges, including a serious knee injury, Douglas remains focused on his goal of competing in the 2025 World Youth Swimming Championships in Romania. He draws inspiration from his mother, Angélica Flores, and aspires to represent Honduras on the international stage.
