Dulce Maria Garduno

Dulce Maria Garduno is a Mexican immigrant and community advocate who has lived in the United States for twenty-six years. As a mother and wife to U.S. citizens, she is actively involved in helping her community navigate the fears surrounding immigration enforcement, particularly in the wake of increased raids. Garduno emphasizes the importance of knowing one’s rights to empower individuals in her neighborhood, La Villita, a predominantly Latino area in Chicago.
