Dzhojar Dudayev
Dzhojar Dudayev was the first president of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, a self-proclaimed independent state in the early 1990s. He gained international attention for his leadership during the First Chechen War against Russian forces, ultimately dying in a Russian airstrike in 1996.
