Her work encompasses a variety of methods including weaving, patchwork, sewing, embroidery, knitting, and crocheting, all done without the use of looms. Vilks emphasizes the rhythmic repetition of patterns and motifs in her creations, reflecting the natural, infinite cycles observed in nature. Recently, she was featured in a personal exhibition titled 'Pat ja tumsa, pat ja sals...' which showcased her unique approach to textile art.
