Ederson Salinas Benítez
Ederson Salinas Benítez, also known as Ryguasu, was a notorious figure in organized crime in Paraguay, associated with the criminal faction Primer Comando Capital (PCC). He was implicated as one of the masterminds behind the assassination of journalist Lourenço Léo Veras before being killed himself in February 2023. His death raised further questions about the influence of organized crime within the political and judicial systems in Paraguay.
