Ednajane Truax, often called 'E.J.', is a vibrant 90-year-old retired nurse living in Washington, known for her active lifestyle and commitment to gardening. Frequently found tending to her garden at the Sherwood Recreation Center or lifting weights, she embodies the philosophy that staying active is key to healthy aging. Despite growing up in poverty as one of six sisters, Ednajane pursued her education independently, eventually becoming a nurse.
