Edward Friedheim

Edward Friedheim was a German art enthusiast who significantly contributed to the cultural landscape of Alexandria, Egypt, by donating a substantial collection of artworks to the city. His generous gift, which included 217 pieces from various foreign artists, led to the establishment of the Alexandria Museum of Fine Arts in 1906, ensuring that these important works would be preserved and displayed for future generations.
