Eko
Eko is a 49-year-old resident of Kampung Bongok in Bekasi, West Java, who has witnessed the drastic transformation of his hometown from a lush agricultural area to an industrial landscape. Once able to roam freely in open fields, he now finds himself surrounded by factory barriers, with few remaining childhood friends. Despite initially believing that the industrial development would provide opportunities, Eko has struggled to find work in the nearby factories, ultimately continuing his family's brick-making business, which has now stagnated.
