Elizabeth B. Prelogar

Elizabeth B. Prelogar is an accomplished attorney and the Solicitor General of the United States, having been appointed to the position in 2021. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Prelogar previously served as a law clerk for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and has extensive experience in constitutional law and appellate litigation. She has been in the news recently for her role in arguing cases before the Supreme Court, including those involving significant issues such as gun control and the regulation of e-cigarettes.
