Emperor He of Han

Emperor He of Han, born Liu Zhao, was the 12th emperor of the Eastern Han dynasty, reigning from 88 to 105 AD. He ascended to the throne at a young age of 14 and was heavily influenced by his mother, Dou Taihou, who acted as regent during his early years. His reign was marked by efforts to stabilize the empire and strengthen its administration, particularly through the advice of prominent scholars like Ding Hong.
