Erika Medina Susawa

Erika Medina Susawa is a mother and activist who has become a poignant voice in the fight against gender-based violence in Mexico. Following the tragic murder of her daughter, Angélica, by her partner in 2019, Erika has been vocal about the emotional and physical toll of such violence on families. Despite her own declining health, including severe respiratory issues, she has sought justice for her daughter and has been actively engaged in raising awareness about the ongoing crisis of femicide in the country.
