Ernesto Breccia

Ernesto Breccia was an Italian archaeologist who played a crucial role in the completion of the excavation of the Anfushi tombs in Alexandria after the death of his predecessor, Giuseppe Botti. As the second director of the Greek-Roman Museum, Breccia continued to advance the understanding of Alexandria's archaeological significance, contributing to the preservation and study of its ancient sites.
