Giuseppe Botti

Giuseppe Botti was an Italian archaeologist known for his significant contributions to the field of archaeology in Egypt, particularly in Alexandria. He is best remembered as the founder of the Greek-Roman Museum in Alexandria and for his role in the discovery of the Anfushi tombs in 1901, which date back to the third century BC. His work laid the groundwork for further excavations and the preservation of Egypt's rich cultural heritage.
