Ernesto Martínez, a 65-year-old man originally from Pilar, Paraguay, returned to his hometown after a decade of living in Santa Elena for work. His journey to the Estación de Buses was filled with nostalgia and excitement as he looked forward to reuniting with his last remaining family member, an uncle, during the Semana Santa celebrations.
