Erpilio
Erpilio is a French centenarian who, during World War II, was forcibly deported to Germany as part of the Service du travail obligatoire (STO) initiated by the Vichy regime. At just a young age, he was compelled to leave his home in Nice and work in a factory in Oberkassel, where he faced the constant threat of bombings and the harsh realities of forced labor. Recently, he has sought justice and reparations for his suffering during the war, alongside fellow deportee Albert, as they challenge the French state for recognition and compensation for their experiences.
