Estanislao Esteban Karlic, born on February 7, 1926, in Oliva, Argentina, is a prominent Roman Catholic cardinal who served as the Archbishop of Paraná from 1986 until his retirement. Ordained as a priest in 1954 in Rome, he was created a cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI in 2007. At 99 years old, he is one of the oldest living cardinals and remains an influential figure within the Argentine Church.
