Esteban Aguilar Vargas

Esteban Aguilar Vargas is the head of the Cybercrime Unit of the Public Prosecutor's Office in Costa Rica. He has recently come into the spotlight due to a domestic violence allegation made by his wife, who also sought protective measures from a Domestic Violence Court. Aguilar has publicly denied the allegations, claiming they stem from a misunderstanding related to their ongoing divorce. He stated that he was merely documenting a vehicle outside his home that he believed belonged to his wife's new partner. Additionally, he has expressed concerns about alleged workplace harassment from the Attorney General, Carlo Díaz, which he claims has affected his career and personal well-being.
