Estella Patterson

Estella Patterson is the recently appointed chief of police for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, having taken office just prior to a series of violent incidents on the city’s light rail system. As chief, she is tasked with overseeing public safety initiatives, including the newly launched Operation Safe Season, which aims to increase police presence and enforcement in response to rising crime rates.
