Eulalie Yerbanga

Eulalie Yerbanga is a prominent advocate for women's rights in Burkina Faso, known for her tireless work against child marriage and violence towards women. As a member of the NGO Voix de femmes and the National Coalition Against Child Marriage (CONAMEB), she has dedicated her life to empowering women and girls through education and advocacy. Born on March 2, 1952, Yerbanga's personal experiences with gender inequality fueled her commitment to activism. She has held various significant positions, including Director of Women's Promotion in the Centre region and a legislator, where she worked to improve the education and welfare of girls. In August 2023, she was named the National Champion against Child Marriage in Burkina Faso, a recognition of her decades of commitment to the cause.
