Lamizana Absétou

Lamizana Absétou is the Coordinator of the Association d’Appui et d’Éveil Pugsada (ADEP) in Burkina Faso, known for her advocacy on children's rights. She has been actively involved in raising awareness about the new Code of Persons and Family (CPF), particularly regarding the serious issues surrounding child marriage and its detrimental effects on health, education, and the future of young girls. During a recent workshop for journalists, she emphasized the importance of effectively communicating the new legal provisions to the public to ensure the protection of children.
