Félix Henao Casanova

Félix Henao Casanova is the mayor of Tumaco, Nariño, Colombia. He has recently been in the news for addressing a heated confrontation between military personnel and members of the Awá indigenous community in the Inda Sabaleta reserve, where allegations of abuse of authority by soldiers were raised. Henao emphasized the importance of dialogue and requested that the national government intervene to ensure peace and order, especially during the festive period of the Carnival of Fire.
