Fernando Marroni

Fernando Marroni is a Brazilian politician and member of the Workers' Party (PT). He served as the mayor of Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, and has been associated with Lula's political career since its early days. Marroni gained national attention in 2000 when he was the subject of a controversial comment made by Lula during an event, which was later exploited by political opponents.
