Fernando Verdasco
Fernando Verdasco is a retired Spanish professional tennis player known for his powerful left-handed serve and strong baseline game. Throughout his career, he achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 7 and has won seven ATP singles titles. Verdasco gained recognition for his impressive performances in Grand Slam tournaments, particularly his run to the semifinals of the 2009 Australian Open. After retiring from professional play in September 2023, Verdasco has transitioned to coaching and is currently working with Novak Djokovic during the ATP 500 tournament in Doha, bringing his valuable experience and insights from having previously faced Djokovic multiple times on the court.
