Forster Maynard
Forster Maynard was a First World War flying ace who later served as the commander of an airbase in Malta at the onset of the Second World War. He is notable for his connection to a recently discovered original Magna Carta document, which passed through his estate after previously being owned by prominent historical figures, including the abolitionist Thomas Clarkson.
