Francisco Chávez Galeano

Francisco Chávez Galeano was a fierce advocate for democracy and social justice at the University of El Salvador in the 1970s. He was a key player in the student movements that sought to challenge the oppressive political climate of the time. His life was cut short in December 1944 during a confrontation with the military, marking him as one of the early casualties in the fight for human rights and democracy in El Salvador.
