Herbert Lindo

Herbert Lindo was a dedicated student militant at the University of El Salvador, recognized for his activism in the fight against state repression and for democratic rights. He was killed in December 1944 while opposing the military dictatorship of the time, making him one of the early martyrs in the long history of resistance to authoritarianism in El Salvador. His contributions to the struggle continue to resonate in the country’s ongoing quest for justice.
