Francisco José Garzón

Francisco José Garzón is a Spanish train driver who was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for his role in the tragic 2013 Angrois train derailment, which resulted in 79 fatalities. The court found him guilty of serious negligence for failing to reduce speed when approaching a dangerous curve, while he was distracted by a phone call.
