
Frankie Austin
Frankie Austin was a prominent Panamanian baseball player who made significant contributions to the sport during the era of the Negro Leagues. He played for the Philadelphia Stars and was selected to participate in four All-Star Games between 1945 and 1948. Austin is also recognized as one of the ten Panamanians officially acknowledged as Major League Baseball players, thanks to the recognition granted by Commissioner Rob Manfred to players from the Negro Leagues.
