Gen Burhan

General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan is a Sudanese military leader who has played a pivotal role in the country's recent history, notably as the commander of the Sudanese Armed Forces. He came to prominence following the ousting of long-time dictator Omar al-Bashir in 2019 and has since led the military's efforts in the ongoing civil war against the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
