Genji Kinjo

Genji Kinjo, also born in 1927, is celebrated alongside his wife Fumiko as the world's oldest working couple. They operate the popular Gabusoka Soba Honten restaurant in Nago, where they serve traditional Okinawan cuisine. With a lighthearted approach to life and a belief in the importance of love and camaraderie, Genji emphasizes simple pleasures, including daily meals of Soba noodles and a glass of wine, as part of his secret to reaching an impressive age.
